Brother Kelly graduated from Bishop Borgess High School (Detroit, MI) in 1987. He was class president of his class and an All State Track hurdler. Brother Kelly is the son of James and Sheryl Kelly of Albion, MI , is married to Colette Neal Kelly and has two children, Cameron and Brooke. Cameron is a freshman at Valparaiso University and Brooke is a senior at Academy of Information Technology & Engineering in Stamford Ct.

Brother Kelly graduated from the University of Mississippi and was an All SEC Track runner during his four years at Ole Miss. Brother Kelly pledged Kappa Alpha Psi at the University of Mississippi Lambda Pi chapter in the fall of 1988. As an undergraduate brother Kelly held leadership positions; Keep of Exchequer and Polemarch. It was at Lambda Pi that brother Kelly was taught the true meaning of brotherhood and fidelity.

Brother Kelly combined his passion for sports into a career joining the Milwaukee Brewers (MLB), Milwaukee Admirals (IHL) and Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) as an marketing and Premium Ticket Sales Account Executive. While in Milwaukee brother Kelly was an active and financial member of the Milwaukee Alumni chapter.  Brother Kelly focused his support of the Milwaukee Alumni chapter’s community and Guide Right efforts.

Brother Kelly was recruited by the Dallas Mavericks (NBA) to lead their season ticket team. While in Dallas brother Kelly created Greek Night and Black College Nights. Brother Kelly solicited Dallas Alumni support of these events and part of the proceeds from these events were donated to DAC.  For his contributions to Dallas Alumni brother Kelly was awarded special recognition for his support of the DAC Guide Right program.

Brother Kelly took a Key Account Manager position with Shell Oil and relocated his family to Stamford Ct. Brother Kelly  joined the Stamford Alumni Chapter (SAC) and became a financial member and supporter of the chapters’ community initiatives. Quickly, brother Kelly was elected Polemarch of Stamford Alumni. While Polemarch brother Kelly guided SAC to a Runner Up Chapter of the year award, Inaugural Samuel Hamilton awardee Benjamin Jackson, James M. Kid petition and successful Laurel Wreath petition for brother Rodney Adkins. NEP Polemarch Jimmy McMikle recognized brother Kelly’s efforts and awarded him a special recognition award for his work with Stamford Alumni.  Brother McMikle requested brother Kelly to join the NEP Board and he continues to humbly serve under the current NEP Polemarch Craig Chisholm.  Since stepping down as Polemarch of SAC brother Kelly continued his work as a SAC Foundation and Guide Right committee member.  Currently brother Kelly is the Guide Right Chairman and has 22 young men active in the program. Brother Kelly also serves on the Board of Directors of the Stamford Diamond Foundation.

Brother Kelly holds a Bachelor of Political Science with an emphasis on Public Administration from University of Mississippi.

Brother Kelly is a lifetime on the national and regional levels of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  He is the Guide Right Chairman of the inaugural Stamford Kappa League class.
